     As a serious fan of "Grey's Anatomy" and "ER" I had  become convinced that all bad things come in three's. Death, debt, relationship issues...you name it. I think Dr. Grey and Dr. Ross were not looking at the big picture outside the hospital. I've been paying attention and many other things come in 3's.Many great movies are made in sets of 3. My favorite MAC eye shadows come in a set of 3. Cheeseburgers only need cheese, beef, and bread to be delicious. How appropriate is it that this is my 3rd blog, in the 3rd month of the year, and I didn't put those things together before I titled it. Wait, there's more. I have 3 perfect pairs of heels that I can wear with anything at any time of day. My favorite children's stories all had 3 main characters.  The 3 Little Pigs battled the Big, Bad Wolf and Goldilocks had to take down those 3whiny bears. 

     Growing up I had a different perspective of 3. By the age of 33 I'd have 3 kids, 3 pets (a dog and two goldfish), and would have already visited 3 countries in Europe. So maybe not all of those are in my future, but I'm not that far away from my adolescent vision.  I have two kids and a dog that thinks she's a human. Europe, well that's not too far away. In order to make up for lost time, I will be visiting 6 countries in one summer.  

     Although I've felt quite overwhelmed with an unusual amount of less than pleasant news arriving in sets of 3, I am trying to keep it in perspective. There's a reason for the Yin Yang theory. I am climbing, stumbling, running past the shady Yin side of the slope, and making it towards the sunny, more passive Yang side. Like Goldilocks conquered the 3 bears and at least one little pig beat down that wolf, I plan on beating this curse of the 3. Somewhere along the line, like a scale,  I will learn to hold my equilibrium. And I will do it wearing my perfect heels, my MAC eye shadow trio, and while munching on a cheeseburger.
